I love the way this flat iron goes smoothly down the hair, straightening it with ease the very first time. No burning and no smell with this one, nor did I notice any spots in my hair damaged from the curling iron. Most of the irons that I have used in the past burnt my hair with each strand of hair that I touched. It is made for all hair types, and I was quite pleased with the results. Hopefully, it will last a long time but we will see! I would recommend it for all types of hair, even hair that is difficult to straighten. It isn't cheap, but it is worth the money, I feel. It stays straight all day, even in the humid weather. My hair comes out straight and smooth, and exceptionally shiny. It heats up quickly and cools down fairly quickly. I only have to pass over a section of hair once, which is much better for my hair. It heats evenly and maintains a hot temperature. I have to say that I have had great performance out of it. This was time consuming, so I decided to splurge and purchased this one. It is very pricey, but I have found that the flat irons that I was using were not heating evenly or maintaining an adequate temperature, and I was having to go over the same sections of hair over and over again. I have curly hair that I flat iron every day, and I noticed that my hair stylist was using this one.

Would definitely recommend this- especially because it's held up to multiple floor drops and banging around that comes with living in my house! Great product!

Some people love these curls but it's just not my personal preference. My only complaint is that I don't like the look of the curls this produces if you choose to curl with it (which is just an extra because this is a straightener not a curling iron). It heats quickly and isn't overly bulky like some straighteners tend to be. This one One swipe with my Paul Mitchell and no more wave, no frizz, and helllllloooo shine! It always amazes me that my hair looks healthier AFTER I use hot tool. My hair is SUPER thick and stubborn to keep straight so a regular run of the mill drugstore brand straightener (and even some higher end) won't cut it for me. Paul Mitchell never disappoints! This is my everyday straightener reliably gets the job done! I have long, wavy blonde hair and I can't stand to have my natural messy wave showing.
